Adriana Macouzet has served as Vice President for Latin America and General Manager of Protective and Marine Coatings at PPG since 2019. She is also an independent board member at Copper Standard, a systems provider, and is a member of the advisory board at Nadro, a pharmaceutical logistics company.

In the first half of 2024, PPG has greatly benefitied from its business in Mexico, the second-largest country in terms of net sales, a momentum the company expects to continue through the rest of 2024.

Macouzet joined PPG Mexico in 1994 and has held increasing roles of responsibility in technical, purchasing, operations, sales and marketing. Before returning to Mexico where she led PPG’s automotive coatings business for Latin America, she moved to Argentina to develop PPG’s new automotive business in South America. In 2008, Macouzet became the first Mexican CEO of PPG Mexico. She also played a key role during the acquisitions of Colpisa in Colombia and Comex in Mexico. Outside of her roles in automotive coatings and PMC, Macouzet founded PPG’s Latin America Women Leadership Counsil and participated in PPG’s Global DE&I council. 

Born and raised in Mexico, Macouzet holds a chemical engineering degree from Universidad La Salle. She has also completed executive programs in finance management at University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, corporate strategy at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and women on boards at Harvard Business School. 

She also chairs the Board of the Mexican National Auto-parts Association (INA) and serves on the foundation board of the Memory and Tolerance Museum (MYT) in Mexico City.

Macouzet has been recognized by Expansión as one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Businesswomen and was honored with the Mérito Empresarial Querétaro 2023 by the Government of Querétaro.
