Outstanding corrosion protection for the oil and gas offshore industry

Developed for offshore use in the oil and gas industry, PPG Sigmashield^® 905 GF high-solids epoxy primer/buildcoat system is reinforced with glass flake to provide long lasting corrosion and high temperature protection for assets in even the most severe environmental conditions, such as splash zone areas. Currently available in EMEA.

The solvent-free, low-VOC formulation provides a high dry film thickness (DFT) in a single coat and is ready to handle and overcoat in just two hours. The extremely robust system additionally offers long lasting protection in the offshore environment.

Easy and Efficient Application

• High-solids formulation (98%) providing high DFT in a single coat
• Fast drying with the product dry to handle and ready to overcoat in two hours at 40^°C (104°F) (or 12 hours at 20^°C (68°F))
• System specification: two coats of 750µm DFT per coat
